Les, I have to retract my statement about the dumbness of the Republicans. It appears that they knew that the recount law was a paper tiger when they rigged the state vote the first time. Yes, you can demand a recount, but you don't have enough time to do it. Good law. <g>

Les -- Do you think it is remotely possible that Gore knows he has lost and simply wants to underscore how narrow the victory was for Bush, to bog Bush down and set up the run for next time? He has said that if Bush wins we'll be thrown into a recession -- such is likely whoever wins -- maybe just a lot of posturing?
