Leon County Circuit Judge Terry P. Lewis heard arguments in the case yesterday and promised a decision at 10:30 a.m. today. While Lewis didn't indicate how he would rule, there were signs he was sympathetic to an extension. ``How could you ever envision a large county having a manual recount if someone asked for it?'' Lewis asked Barry Richard, an attorney representing Bush. ``That's my question: you give somebody an option but you don't give them an opportunity to do it.''
