Sorry, was lazy when I said 'covered.' (to used to calls) I just meant I'm holding the stock and wrote the puts. My argument against writing calls is that once they're in the money, you lose on the calls what you make on the stock. I'm guessing you therefore have been writing well out of the money calls.

FWIW, I wrote next year 25 strike price puts when Kem dipped below 23, and will close if KEM tanks again.
