There is a joke going around in Louisiana that the State sold a bunch of voting machines to Mexico and Edwin Edwards won the election there. For those of you who do not follow Louisiana politics (which is worse even than Texas), Governor Edwards was involved in all sorts of scandals during his several terms in office, but somehow seemed to always be elected whenever he ran. He is now under indictment for accepting bribes in the Casino deal. I do believe that machines can be rigged.
