The point is not the ballots.......

Pezz.. IT IS THE POINT EXACTLY... But obviously you're educational background hasn't prepared you to understand such simple logic.

No fraud has been alleged, only confusion. On that basis TWO ELECTRONIC RECOUNTS WERE PERFORMED and STILL confirmed Bush as the winner.

But "confusion" also apparently was prevalent in prevalently Republican counties as well and there is no official call from EITHER party to ask for an electronic recount, let alone a manual count.

And given the closeness of the election in New Mexico, Wisconsin -and the evidence of outright fraud by Democrats in Wisconsin (passing out cigarettes)- WHY NOT CALL FOR A NATIONWIDE RECOUNT??!!!

Bill Clinton WOULD LOVE THAT!! He would still be president until next year when all the recounts, legal challenges, and appeals have been completed.

Bottom line... the election system obviously isn't perfect. But ALL COUNTIES HAVE IRREGULARITIES IN THEIR ELECTIONS, NATIONWIDE. IT HAPPENS IN ***EVERY ELECTION***.

But we simply can't put the nation on hold as we find ourselve re-examining the imperfections of the machinery. All we can do is "drive on" and do our best to fix and problems before the next election.

And btw, I find it HILARIOUS that I'm hearing the DNC is preparing to sue Palm Beach county (or is it Broward?), ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY ARE HEADED BY THEIR OWN DEMOCRAT OPERATIVES...

Talk about "eating your young"... LOL!!!

3 minutes and counting until the result of the judges ruling are made public. Market currently on hold.. It will be interesting to see how it reacts to any news.

By the by, I just heard a claim on TV claim Republicans offered a statewide handcount. He said Democrats rejected that in favor of going forward as per state laws. This surely is true, since the very issue of selective counties VS whole state, was one central part of their Federal case the other day. Now, Dems's want to extend state law deadlines to get their skewed results in.

I can't help it. Al Gore is wrong here, very very wrong.
