Why is Bush so damn afraid of hand recounts???

Because dems keep changing the goal posts. The other day, the dems were not getting enough votes for Gore, so that ugly lady decided to change the standards later in the day from what she agreed to earlier.(Fact)

Another fact is that now the dems are suing to have "pregnant" chads counted in primarily dem counties. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who will benefit from that. Duh!

When counting is OBVIOUSLY advantageous to one candidate over the other because of subjective determinations as to voter intent, the outcome is more likely to benefit one side over the other. This is unfair.

<Why is Bush so damn afraid of hand recounts???> i would direct you to the pregnant chad/hanging chad news conference on saturday- it told he story better than any partisan argument. i will also direct you to the partisan fiasco later that night @ 2am (televised live) when roberts rammed the recount thru despite objections all around (even from some democrats) and their not knowing how to interpret the fl statutes. i will direct you that the same pb canvassing board which selected precincts that went 9-1 for gore to make sure that the 'sample' were heavily slanted to gore to justify a hand count for the entire county.

now learn that the EXACT same thing (9-1 sample) is being done in miami-dade. these people should have recused themselves from the process like jeb bush did- they are WAY too partial.

a hand count will not be a more accurate count- only the most recent. count the entire state by hand twice and you'll probably have a different winner each time. as opposed to machines, which have no party affiliation, a hand count will be done by people who have an agenda. you can counter with the fact that republicans get an observer. well.... in pb county all questionables were decided by a vote of the 3 democratic officials- not exactly fair. add in only recounting in democratic counties and........... if you haven't figured out what gore is up to and why bush doesn't want to go along with the rape without a fight- well, then i can't help you.
