I'm not so sure. My opinion is that the market fell through 3000 because of the election uncertainty. The market is now recovering because a resolution is likely in the near future. The ruling today and other events yesterday and today seem to lean this towards Bush.

A retest isn't necessary. Our market has rebounded from false lows (effected by short term issues) without a retest. A V-bottom is a normal bottom and shouldn't be dismissed while looking for a double bottom. Obviously a double bottom of a lower bottom is possible, but I believe we are at or near the low.

[Edit] IMO, Bush is better for a large part of the market.

BTW Ron this past week end I suggested that we would see a market bottom Mon or Tue......Book mark that one if you will.
