David - I don't think gurudedog meant to post braggadocio
(much). I do think that he's a bit all over the map with
regard to investment strategy and execution.

Should an actual long term investor (like you and I) have
sold SUNW where rudedog suggested and 'bought' it back
where he did (sic). Our profits basically, would have
merely paid for the privilege of resetting our taxable cost
basis, employing the rather risky proposition of being
dumped out of SUNW altogether.

While that may make rudedog feel that he's being a more
effective manager, the reality is that we tend to be more
effective through inaction. One could do much worse at a
casino but it's still an expensive way to massage
an ego.

And maybe that's where he and we seperate. We see our
job (long term investors) as managers. Perhaps rudedog
fancies himself more the entrepreneur. And that's okay.
It's just that he was a bit of a wolf in sheep's clothing
advising SUNW long-term longs.

David - I post the transactions I do, when I do them, on the appropriate threads. I am hardly an investment guru - just an engineer trying to make a buck in the market. Sorry if I offended the faithful in the new church of SUNW - you should put me on ignore if you don't like my hooey.
