If the recount shows Gore ahead, then there will be a month of news before the inauguration. Do you really think Junior George can stand up to a month of reporters asking him if he really intends to take office when it appears he lost both the popular vote and the electorial college vote?

He can't hide out at the ranch that long.

Ron, have you been following all the news channels? The point is that the judge did not say that all voting HAS to be completed by 5pm today. He did not order all recounts to be stopped by 5pm today.

In fact, he said that counting can continue and that Harris must not arbitrarily throw out any after 5pm recounts.'

If Gore is leading when the counts are done, there is no way she can ignore them.

She's in a very tough situation.
