No, you're wrong, Lug. One in five people say they would not accept GWB as the legitimate president. And I am among that group. I have no president. Let's see, 260 million X 19 percent equals 49.4 million Americans who say, no, I do not recognize GWB as the legitimate president. In most elections, that percentage is probably one-one hundreths of one percent.

But as I have opined before, given the awful division in the country, better that GWB become president than the Vice President. Dems will then be assured of recapturing both houses of Congress in two years when the Dow is hovering around 5,000 and the Naz at 1,000.

In the meantime, Lott-Armey-Burton-DeLay have a two-year time frame to pass as much legislation as possible cutting back civil rights, putting the screws to the common working man, curtailing social programs -- especially those instituted by the Democrats that actually do help people, tipping the labor-Big Business balance way toward Big Business, etc. etc.
