The lack of competent campaign managers was the problem with this whole ordeal. Where were the pros? Jeez, everybody knows you do the dirty tricks and chicanery during the campaign. You don't wait until after Election Day to do the gerrymandering! I think the Farmer's Almanac says:

Fraud before vote
Winner take note.
After election
Chance of detection.

Daley has the right family history but is a far cry from his illustrious and industrious father. Carville would have mopped the floor with Bush as his target. Lee Atwater would have had Gore thinking he was Willie Horton's dad! I think even Ed "Perot blew my mind" Rollins could've whupped either of these guys.

You're right about Christopher - though to me he looks like one of those dried folk art apple carvings.
