Agreed! But, I am not holding my breath on that one.

I think Gateway is focussed on operations flexibility that performance, so I expect Gateway to pick a motherboard that supports both Athlon and Duron. If there is a motherboard that can cost effectively support $699 PCs while supporting DDR, Gateway will go for it. Otherwise, I expect Gateway to stay with PC133.
