NW...You are sort of correct. President elected with year ending with zero died while in office. Harrison, Harding, and Roosevelt were not shot. 1800 - Adams died in 1826 within hours of T. Jefferson 1820 - Monroe died in 1831 1840 - Harrison died shortly after inauguration (pneumonia) 1860 - Lincoln shot 1880 - Garfield shot 1900 - McKinley - shot 1920 - Harding - officially "Heart attack" 1940 - Roosevelt - 1945 1960 - Kennedy - shot 1980 - Reagan - shot (did not die) 2000 - Loki
