LoF - again good post, but I believe that the "staunch" anti-As will be the first to do so in such a serious situation. I think the hypocrisy of it all runs very deep. Just think of the issue, a staunch religious right family who has found out that however it might happen that the 14 year old daughter of the family is pregnant with the child of a "black sheep" uncle. How do they deal with this dilemma? Admit to the world that incest has occurred or undergo an abortion? I beleiev the latter. There are many other hyptotheticaql examples that could be shown under the rape, incest, threat to the mother scenario that, IMO, no sane American can deny that abortion is probably the solution. Oh well, that is enough from me on the subject - it is apparent of where I stand.
