Well, I can't speak for others, but it was an issue I thought long and hard about before voting for Bush. It was only because I don't believe that the country will stand for a return to pre-Roe days, that I could vote for him. However, I know many women who voted for Gore because of this particular issue and their fear that this will be a litmus test for the next SC appointee.
