You are right. They should hand count selected Republican Counties or better yet all counties. Not just those selected by Gore. This picking and chosing by Gore doesn't prove anything.

This ain't the first time there's been a hand count in an election. We ain't trailblazing new ground here. Hand counts have a track record. They even have gotten some Repubs elected. There's nothing illegal, immoral or improper about hand counts. Hand counts are "playing within the rules."

My precinct uses the punch ballots and it takes less energy than breathing to punch the hole. You can feel when that stylus goes through the paper, then another 1/2" of movement. Chads? It's another word for BS. Dented ballots? give me a break. The force between dented and punched out is almost impossible to duplicate. I agree with you, they were punched or not.
