You are right. They should hand count selected Republican Counties or better yet all counties. Not just those selected by Gore. This picking and chosing by Gore doesn't prove anything.

This ain't the first time there's been a hand count in an election. We ain't trailblazing new ground here. Hand counts have a track record. They even have gotten some Repubs elected. There's nothing illegal, immoral or improper about hand counts. Hand counts are "playing within the rules." Re: "No matter what happens the disenchanted figure is going to grow. It just matters which side you're on": That is indeed correct.
