Kopin Corp. (NASDAQ:KOPN) will replace Specialty Equipment (NYSE:SEC) in the S&P SmallCap 600 Index after the close of trading on Monday, November 20, 2000. Specialty Equipment is being acquired by S&P 500 component United Technologies (NYSE:UTX) via a tender offer that is scheduled to expire on that date, unless extended.
