Art I disagree.

Their will not be a certainty to the winner of this election no matter what. Wait and see. You will have to recount every ballot in the state of Florida like 10 times in order to be certain that someone has a lead of more than 100 votes.

Bush is not in the camp of not wanting an accurate count. I think he does not wish to engulf the entire state of Florida in a mindless search for votes, that in the end will provide no clear advantage to either candidate, because it may not provide a winner by a statistically significant margin.

If Gore were to win a hand recount by one vote what would you do? 100 votes? 1000 votes? I have two counts that put Bush ahead. Why should I not feel that I got ripped off if the certainty of this election is +/- .2%

Imagine what will happen if the absentee votes coming in favor Bush by 2-3000 votes as expected. This thing gets more complicated all the while people are hand counting 6 million ballots. If you really feel it's necessary to do a hand recount, then how about stepping back from the table yourselves for a minute? The vote may be certified but the electoral votes haven't been cast. You can always contest this in federal court and get your manual recount if you can prove it's necessary.

My view is that the democrats have skewed the votes in the largely democratic counties and now wish to use this as a precipice for prolonging this vote which likely favors bush because of the outcome of TWO vote counts.

These are not suspicious circumstances. Unless you want to count the democrats only hand counting democratic strongholds. Why did they not ask for a hand recount of the entire state instead of going fishing in democratic counties? In my view 100 votes out of 100000 is not enough to justify counting 6 million ballots the probability of this happening is EXTREMELY high in Volusa county. You can't say that they are denying peoples votes when you haven't counted any of the repulican dominated counties. In that vain the democrats are denying republican votes.

Please describe how the Republicans are trying to deny the vote of anyone. They have counted the votes two times.
