I already did that, I am enjoying the time release effects from 10-15 years ago...some people call them flashbacks. I know better though, with some of the stuff that is coming out with release mechanisms. BTW: MRK has a drug called Fosamax for osteoporosis that releases over a four day period. Obviously it can't stay in the digestive track for that long, so they found a way to have the drug attach to proteins in the blood and release over the given time period. Considering their target for this drug of the aged population, a drug that doesn't have to be administered daily provides a more reliable delivery system.

A lot depends on who you think is going to win the election. Bush - buy the pharms, Gore - Sell them, starting with MRK.

MRK has already broken out, GLX has been trading in a very tight trading range, whichever way it breaks, it should be powerful. With their merger with SKB finalizing soon and with SKB's genomic products, I would expect a very positive outlook for them.

So in the pharms, GLX is my pick. Again, assuming Bush wins. Maybe on Deep OTM options straddle play would work.
