Kind of OT, yet it reveals the true character of the people in this Administration:

HILLARY Stopped Bill Clinton FROM BEATING AIDE: AUTHOR

By BILL HOFFMANN

Hillary Clinton once stopped her enraged husband from beating a cowering aide to a pulp, the first lady's biographer says.
Author Gail Sheehy says Bill Clinton, then governor of Arkansas, got into a nasty argument with trusted aide Dick Morris in his office.

"Go f- - - yourself. I'm quitting," a fed-up Morris snapped at Bill Clinton, according to Sheehy.

But as Morris headed for the door, the furious governor felled him with a flying tackle.

"He was above me on his knees and had his fist cocked back ready to start hitting," Morris tells Sheehy.

"Stop this! Stop this!" the future first lady screamed as she hauled the future president off Morris and shoved him roughly out of the way.

"Hillary grabbed his biceps and yanked him off me. She helped me to my feet while Bill was trying to apologize, whimpering 'Don't go, don't go,' " Morris tells the author in London's News of the World.

"Please forgive him. He didn't mean it. He's very sorry. He only does this with people he loves," she told Morris, now a Post columnist.

Sheehy, who wrote "Hillary's Choice," also told how Hillary belted President Clinton in the face when he first confessed to her his steamy affair with Monica Lewinsky.

She says the president told his wife the truth about his Oval Office trysts with the young White House intern as they lay in bed one morning.

Hillary lunged at the president and beat his face with her fists yelling: "You stupid bastard!" All Clinton could do was fend off the blows, Sheehy says.

Afterward, "Clinton became abject. He begged her forgiveness," she writes.

A close friend of the president, Linda Bloodworth-Thomason, later told the author she thought it was great that Hillary had "smacked him upside the head."

Hillary, who won the New York Senate race last week, also once may have clawed her husband out of jealousy, Sheehy says.

It occurred after the president invited a famous singer to dinner while Hillary was in Chicago tending to her dying father.

"The lusty songstress bragged about spending Saturday night in the Lincoln bedroom," Sheehy says.

A few days later, after the singer's quotes appeared in the gossip columns, the president emerged for his morning jog with a claw mark torn along his jaw.

A statement explained he had "cut himself shaving" but the press secretary who issued it later admitted to Sheehy: "It was a big scratch - clearly not a shaving cut."
