Not when you look at what groups voted for the Democrats. - Women afraid of losing reproductive freedoms to politicians. - Blacks afraid of losing affirmative action programs. - Gays afraid of becoming more alienated from society just because they were born different. - Voters that want to keep federal land from being ruined by developers. - Voters concerned about the environment. - Voters against pollution. - Voters against Republican abuse of majority power in Washington. - Voters scared to death of the religious lunatics within the Republican Party. - Voters for fixing public schools, rather than harming them more, by cutting funds to them. You see. When you examine why 50% of the people favor the Democrat Party, you find out that those people are much more frightened of government abuse, than you.
