Tench, ...the Austin based company... Do you have any idea why Van Smith thinks AMD is based in Austin? After all, from AMD's website/1999 annual report: AMD was founded in 1969. The company is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, and employs approximately 13,300 people worldwide. ~dbf

I don't think AMD even needs to pay their PR guys anything since it sounds like Van will do their jobs for free.> Unfortunately, Van Smith doesn't quite reach enough people with his writings, so AMD PR still needs to do some work (which they don't). -fyo
