Sycamore raises 2001 EPS, revenue outlook

BOSTON, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Optical networking firm Sycamore Networks
Inc. (NasdaqNM:SCMR - news) said on Tuesday it expects its revenue to
grow as much as 205 percent in 2001 to more than $500 million.

After the market closed, Sycamore Chief Financial Officer Frances Jewels also raised the company's earnings
forecast as much as 3 cents to 24 cents per share in fiscal year 2001.

Jewels also told analysts during a conference call that Sycamore expects revenue in fiscal 2002 to increase as
much as 75 percent.
