I am positive that the Republicans, who will have majority power in Congress, and own the White House, will almost immediately abuse their power, as they did in attacking Clinton. What will result from Republican abuse of power over the next couple of years? A voter backlash in 2002 and 2004. Hopefully, by 2004 the Democrats will offer a better candidate for President than Gore. OTOH, Geraldo just predicted a Gore victory. Hope he is right!
