I haven't heard that Broadcom was losing a customer, but their Cable modem chip position has to be slipping. When C-Cube releases the TV/COM frontend chip, I think they will loss some frontends. I still can't find production boxes that have Broadcom's MPEG part in them(like the DCT-5000).
