There is no reason I would know them off hand. But I know that the Hare Krishna and Moonies both had tax troubles. That is not the important thing, though. Since the government is deciding who qualifies they are in fact "establishing".

And why isn't a "preacher mill" acceptable? Who decides that and by what means? What about a church who wanted to practice Santeria. Or some other pagan practice like voodoo or wicca. It is a can of worms like the 3/5 compromise or other illogical constructs that seek to legitimize something that is clearly prohibited.
