Where are all the advocates of nondiversified portfolios, the gorilla game buyers, the tech stock buyers, etc.? Awful quiet here...almost spooky....

It is spooky. The country is breaking new ground, at least in our lifetimes. I suspect a lot of people are itching to put bucks back in the market, but not until the political drama comes to an end.

On one extreme, an official president elect with a divided congress would be bullish. On the other extreme, succession talk from some states would be bearish.

We are in uncharted waters. One thing is for sure, both major parties will be staffed up with election law legal eagles in 2004.
