I think we need to ask ourselves 'what would our founding fathers do here?', and I think the answer would be 'pistols'. All of this talk about someone being a 'man' and stepping aside is nonsense. What we need here is 'sudden death' by way of our nation's first televised DUEL. Handguns cause so much grief in this country and take up so much of our political leaders' lobbiest luncheon calendars, I say it's time to put a couple of these things to good use. Dear Charles: You are so biased it is incredible. What you are saying is EVERY VOTE IN DEMOCRAT COUNTIES should be counted. Florida has 67 counties, 14 went for Gore ALL THE REST WENT FOR BUSH AND NONE RECOUNTED MANUALLY. Two of the three heavily democratic counties in S. Fla. have stated they DO NOT WISH A 4TH COUNT AS THEY ARE SURE THE COUNT IS ACCURATE Gore is taking them to Court to try and force it. The 3rd Palm Beach county reluctantly decided to recount by hand FOR THE 4TH TIME and found that the Democrats are trying to put OUTLANDISH standards in place as to WHAT IS A VOTE FOR GORE. So they stopped as of this morning. Ms. Hariss our State Elections Supervisor has been attacked SLANDERED professionally and privately by the Gore people in an attempt to discredit her. So, this morning she has asked the Florida Supreme Court to oversee this election. I cannot blame her as its awful what has been done, HOWEVER I think this sets a DANGEROUS PRECEDENT for the future of our election process having COURTS determine counts. Gore is responsible FOR ALL OF THIS. He does NOT GIVE A WHIT about this Republic ONLY HIS OWN SKIN. JDN
