Ed, You're note was absolutely hilarious! I copied it and sent it to many people. A quick game of five-card stud would be a lot faster than being mauled by a horde of trial attorneys heh-heh...

Been looking at lots of tech stocks. Many down at book value now, heck cheap even if we have a recession. I mention PRLX for e.g. only because that thread is dead. Lights are on, but nobody home! Just one example of many.....Might be worth putting one or two in your portfolio...(I own 400 shares).

Hoolalla! Been in Phoenix the least two days attending Desert STAR organizational meetings. Any western-based power generator, barring a cool summer or deep recession will do quite well (unlike the consumer) in 2001. Have to keep looking at gas-to-power players investment-wise here.

AEP pulled back a tad, but not enough to commit yet. AEP is aimed at building nationwide presence in the power markets.

I may get to go to Columbus, Ohio and visit their HQ on a possible deal here shortly. If that meeting occurs, I'll try to gather some information on the Company and post it here....

Look for ATS work to slow down here in the energy industry as prices for properties have risen from 2x or 3x annual revenues up to 6x or 7x annual revenues from what I've seen over the last 18 months.

This will (at least short-term) crimp the style of energy companies say like Apache that grow by acquisition.....
