Neo: The WSJ poll tonight said 55% of the American people say "get the Florida vote right, regardless of the time it takes." On the other hand, only 30-something said "let's bring this to a close fairly quickly."

So I guess one could argue that a "substantial majority" of Americans is saying, "Do what's right to get the count right."

Neo: What do you think of this Katherine Harris, the Florida Secretary of State and Bush operative?

So now we have the Ms. Harris, who looks like a retired Delta stewardess with strong "Texas hair," saying she will decide by 2 p.m. tomorrow, based on whim, whimsy or reason, whether the ongoing recounts "will count" in the big scheme of things, i.e., who the next leader of the Free World will be.

I love it. The whole election comes down to someone who had to give back $20,000 in laundered money deciding who the next president will be. Ha ha ha ha.

If the Dems are smart, they will do nothing. If the Dems are smart, they will let Ms. Harris, decide the election in favor of Bush because Ms. Harris "didn't like" Palm Beach County's reason for hand-counting, then use this as a campaign issue for the next 20 years.
