Re The Flag. A further thought on this matter: Ask the Naval Oceanographic Office to identify all Chinese and Vietnamese daytime moonrises in the remaining days of Clinton's presidential role. A few hours of looking into a copy of the "American Practical Navigator - Bowditch" likely would also yield an answer on the timing of these moonrises. The navy should strongly suggest to the Commander in Chief that his visits be timed to coincide with these dates in some manner. Why? A former democratic US president went to a lot of trouble in the middle part of the last century to put a US flag on the Sea of Tranquility. Those long spent tax dollars may now finally be put to some further good purpose. With a simple exercise in timing the US Navy can be certain of their nation's flag having the higher hoist during daylight hours. Combine this with my prior suggestion and one has a divine skein in place to capture the flies of journalistic mayhem around this issue. ..rr
