It's SO late, and I'm SO sleepy, and I thought from a glance at the shout and the exclamation points that you were arguing with my view, making the standard "only in a well-regulated militia" argument! But it's late, and i'm not up for a new subject, and there are others here who are more articulate on this subject than I am. Lather.Rinse.Repeat has written on SI very interestingly about this subject, as has Steven Rogers. I haven't. I have a wonderful, sane book by Akhil Reed Amar, The Bill of Rights, which I bought specifically out of interest in its second amendment scholarship.
