Norm, I downloaded ns6 yesterday, it seems a lot more solid than the preview releases and handled the stuff I hit frequently that kills 4.7 pretty well. I haven't used it a lot yet, though. The main thing missing for me is the images button, I haven't figured out how to turn off image download and then do it on demand, when needed.

The latest Mozilla builds are much better than NS6.
The new NS6 is pretty decent. It is better than NS4.7 on Linux for sure. If you want to try it out, I'd recommend using Mozilla nightly builds. My guess is that NS6.1 will be much better as NS6 still has the feel of a beta product.
