Hi folks,

The full PDF of the Wit Soundview report is available on their website:

www.witsoundview.com/research/reports/ratl_20001114/rat_l001114.pdf

(In case I've gotten that wrong, the report can be found under 'research'->'reports' on the WS website.)

Essentially, their survey points were:
- e-commerce is spending less on s/w tools now (9% of budget vs 13% earlier)
- "spending intention" for app development tools "had dropped from 45% for 2000 to 30% for 2001"
- packaged s/w spending intention have INCREASED to 52% for 2001 from 31% for 2000
- Focus has moved from C++ toward Java

There is other information about some skewing of RATL's income numbers (from both source of income and Catapulse), but I'll let you read the rest for yourselves.
