You forget one thing, Bilow: manufacturing efficiencies are driving the price of RDRAM down, whereas supply/demand is driving SDRAM down. When the supply/demand imbalances swing back, SDRAM prices will rise as RDRAM continues to fall. My guess is that by mid 2001, we should see RDRAM PC800 in the 1.50 range, with SDRAM near 1.00.

Carl this may not be a valid comparison.
Perhaps no one really wants PC133, inventory is building and it is obsolete.

What was the Price of PC133 6 months ago?
What is the price of DDR now?

Hi all; Weekly update of PC800/PC133 prices...

Smsperling has begun tracking DDR prices. He shows the stuff considerably cheaper than RDRAM.

PC133 continues its dive into record low pricing, while PC800 remains relatively more expensive. In fact, the ratio has now risen to 316%. This continues a 10 week trend of higher ratios, and in fact is the highest ratio since six months ago.
