It sounds as if you are saying that Hollywood investigates actors political background and only hires "Liberals" and that is why there are so many there.

I prefer to think it is possible that talented, bright, open minded people that are attracted to the arts are accustomed to thinking deeply about all sorts of things. You know the old "what is my motivation" kind of stuff. Thinking deeply about issues that affect everyone's life not just their own may result from that. And so, it is possible that they may be a bit more liberal that someone who cares not a lick about the rest of the world.

But even "Politically Correct" can find a different conservative actor, actress or other Hollywood figure to fill their schedule, so that may not be true.

By the way, although you might classify me as a dreaded "Liberal", I am a gun owner, woodsman and hunter. But it make me quite uncomfortable that my very conservative next door neighbor has a couple of AK-47's and assault rifles on display in his living room.
