When Franklin looked at the chair which sat at the head of the room of the Second Continental Congress, his thoughts were of the sun at the the top of the chair.

He wondered if the sun was rising or setting.
After the Declaration of Independence was signed, he said he knew it was rising.

Maybe we should go take a look at that chair again.
