Tom,

<< I went to the Symbian Developer's Conference in London last week >>

Any feedback you would care to share?

We have discussions here about the hand held game from time to time.

I have had Palm on close watch for some time and am a Palm user.

But ...

As an investor (and data junkie) I am enamored with Psion, the Epoc operating system, the (rapidly growing Symbian Alliance (with key partner Intel and a little Sun thrown in), and the Crystal, Quartz, Pearl, reference models.

As a CDMA user, I am a bit frustrated that at the moment Symbian is very GSM centric, and evidently will be till 6.2 is released. I have a feeling that one of these days I'll be using a Psion or Symbian device to replace the Palm, or maybe using a EPOC based WID with Palm layered on top.

Last evening I was catching up on the conference in "The Register". I linked off to a few old articles that were hilarious (if you can take Limey GSM oriented humor) about Bill Gates, Jorma, GSM v. CDMA, and some DOJ memo releases on Symbian.
