I'm afraid the extremely low unemployment rate we have enjoyed for many years will turn the corner and start to rise now..... Even the once secure position of being a USPS employee is now starting to skate on "thin ice", as they will be laying off approximately 1,500 people in attempt to stem the tide of growing losses..... Even dot.com companies are going bust and laying off once hopeful employees. I have a feeling this Christmas season will be a rough one, and cause even more trouble for people looking for good paying jobs if too many folks spend like the Grinch or Mr. Scrooge! I was firmly against the importation of non-citizens to fill jobs, as we have already had a great flood of immigrants these last twenty years that have to be assimilated into our culture, so enough is enough already! America is literally being torn apart politically, culturally and spiritually, and I'm afraid "she" will not be able to stand much more of these pressures unless they let up on her a bit. I'm hoping for the best, but not very optimistic about it all to tell you the truth. Yogi
