A president who commits a felony while in office should be impeached. He did and he was.

He was guilty as sin for all the things that he was impeached for. (He was impeached but not convicted.) The importance of the impeachment is that enough political hacks did not have enough moral back bone to convict him. I seem to recall that more voted for conviction than against.

That means that at least some demos thought that he deserved to be kicked out of office.

That my friend (used very, very loosely) is not abuse of power.

The vote for impeachment was "taking into consideration whether his sins reached the level of impeachment". If you thought the offenses were impeachable, you voted Aye, if not, Nay........
