Is it just the million california votes outstanding or more than that from other states, to decide on the popular vote?

<Re: "Bush won the popular vote. I'm convinced that 10% of Gore's votes were phony."

At last, a little honesty regarding the importance of the popular vote. So it does matter to you? Of course it matters, because it validates the Electoral College results. Without the popular vote as well as the electoral vote, the latter is a hollow victory.

Uh, one problem, though, e-Mr. Bill. Gore won the popular vote, and the spread will widen because there's something like a million votes in California that have yet to be counted. >

slapdick - (this nickname thing is fun, isn't it <GGG>
