Half of the immigrants have no health insurance. So you're putting a strain in other areas, including also education, housing, and public transportation. But they do make the wage growth and ECI look low since they're coming in at low wages which don't incorporate other costs.

i have worked with a lot of immigrants and highly respect their contribution to america's success. my guess is that they can prolong the inevitable bankruptcy of ss. keep in mind, i'm not trying to get bucks, here.

i am trying to open the discussion for a long term viable program that will prove valuable to folks 200 years from now without bankrupting the folks inbetween. the current system isn't viable, imho.
