OT, that may be true but the south pole's ice isn't floating! Wouldn't it be strange if only the North Pole melted?

Nice little rally today in the Naz, or is it? I notice that DELL keeps acting like a broken stock, down 4 1/2% on an UP day. And Network Appliance, whoops.

I like to watch the Naz big percentage droppers (available under "Markets" at DLJDirect). Look at today's so far. Admittedly they're not household names, but lawdy lawdy look at the percentage drops.

As for Slider going to cash and getting ready for football and fun: you're not trying to become a contrary indicator, are you? The Bush rally seems to be slowly, very slowly, starting to crank up. This Florida thing is like house to house skirmishes in Italy circa 1943. Holy smokes. When do we get to Berlin?

News release is out on SMOP.

Excluding one time bankruptcy charges, SMOP is now selling at 1.7 times 2000 cash flow, with a leverage of only 28%. Production declined less than 1% from 2Q while in bankruptcy, and the best news is it's about to be sold. Soon to be over $5.00. Leverage is lower and cash flow is higher than my estimates.
