Do you support revamping the Senate, too?

Every vote should count equally

Breaking News: CBS reports that Bush has now taken the lead in the national popular votes after over 600,000 absentee ballots have been counted, 65% of which went to Bush.

There once was a group of states back in the mid-1800s that spoke of things the way you do now...

Perhaps it's because when our constitutional framers wrote that all men are created equal they really meant, white, male, and PROPERTY OWNERS.

Fortunately we have gotten past the white male part of things, but I don't know yet, I'm kind of partial to property owners.

On the same point why should someone living in a rural area take a back seat in national policies due to the popular vote of an unaffected metropolitan area. It seems to me the fore fathers considered this at the start. Is it fair ?? "I" really don't know, but I do think that there's a valid point to be made there. I got an idea, why not close all inter-city prisons and send them out to remote unpopulated areas, or .. OK, you've finally retired and moved out of the bustling metro area where you've spent the last 20 years killing yourself trying to get ahead, only to find that your tax dollars are being spent by a liberal body in a city 300 miles south of you. Oh and that business you built over the last 20 years and turn it over to your son or daughter, Well thats gone, cause you have to sell that just to pay the death tax. The point is that as a single nation somehow we all have to take responsibility for our nation as a whole. And maybe that's why we have 2 very distinct parties. To keep things in check !!!
