Gore can't "steal" what somebody else doesn't "own". The only purpose to use such words is to legitimize that which is illegitimate.

December 18th is the only day that matters. That is when the electors cast their votes. Any other "deadline" is arbitrary.

So you'd feel good about saddling the country with a President without a majority popular vote? I don't see that anyone can feel good about this election whether for or against a particular candidate.

This type of hyperbole shows how divisive this will be. No matter who ends up winning, I hardly think that they will be able to run roughshod over the other 50% who didn't win. The next Congressional vote will provide a "House cleaning" if they attempt it.
