Objective Survey Ranks Sinobull Ahead of Major Chinese Competitors Homeway, StockStar and Yestock

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hartcourt Companies Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: HRCT; Frankfurt: HCT), www.hartcourt.com, today announced that its online stock trading and information web site in mainland China, www.sinobull.com.cn, was declared to be the most popular financial content web site in a nationwide survey conducted by China Securities Times (http://www.p5w.net/cjzk/). The complete survey results were published by Securities Times on November 10th, 2000 and can be found online at market.p5w.net.

The nationwide survey conducted by Securities Times included both online popularity votes and mail-in votes from Securities Times readers and individual investors from all major provinces and cities. The online service sites maintained by national banks and securities firms were also eligible to receive popularity votes and captured the top three spots of the overall popular vote.

In the comprehensive ranking of all sites, including the sites of banks and securities firms, Sinobull.com.cn was ranked as the fourth most popular. In a ranking of unaffiliated sites, excluding those sites maintained by banks or securities firms, the top three financial web sites in order of popularity were Sinobull, StockStar, and Homeway. Sinobull received the most votes, 14327, including 11893 online votes and 2434 mail-in votes. Yestock, recently acquired by Legend Group for approximately US$40 million, failed to make the top 10.

Sinobull.com.cn is a financial information and stock trading website complimenting Sinobull Financial Group's product and service offerings. Together with other subsidiaries of Sinobull Financial Group, Hartcourt and its subsidiaries are now capable to provide news, data and analysis to the business community and media outlets, and provide real-time pricing, historical pricing, indicative data, analytics and electronic communications. Existing and potential clients include China's investment institutions, commercial banks, government offices and agencies, corporations, and news/media organizations.

Dr. Charlie Yang, CEO of Hartcourt, said, "We are honored and thrilled to receive the top ranking in this objective nationwide survey. This is solid proof that our SinoBull subsidiaries, its management teams and China-based staffs have done an outstanding job of designing, marketing and maintaining a commercially viable and attractive asset. We look forward to attending the Securities Times' "Most Popular Financial Websites Ceremony" to be held in Beijing on November 17th.
