Very interesting, thanks for posting it. There are various questions that come to mind, though: is it enough to have a good sense of humor, or does on have to have full throated laughter on a daily basis? Weekly? Monthly? How about a chuckle, will that do? Is aggressive and hostile humor, like ethnic slurs, practical jokes, and the taunting of nerds, neutral in this context, or is it toxic? Should we petition NBC to get coax Seinfeld back on the air on public health grounds? Does watching "Must See TV" for a season add a week to your life? Is there good humor and bad humor, analogous to good and bad cholesterol? Is tickling a fair substitute for humor? Is laughter better than sex?
