Both assumed the unidentified callers were associated with the Gore campaign, which denied making such overtures.

How many delegates more does Al Gore need to get to 270. I know one delegate from FLorida is changing her vote for Gore, already.

Just partisan spin-control mind games. All BS.
Both sides will lie outright now to try and keep from looking like A-holes or to gain a few hundred votes.
This shouldn't even be happening. Blame the EC system.

Gee, with that post we have taken the term "granularity" to a whole new level...let's take a pig farmer, a retired guy and a TV home repairman and interview them about someone asking them to change their vote from Bush to Gore...this is truly shocking!...seems the media has run out of stories coupled with the fact that folks are getting bored with stories on the count, the count, the count, so now the focus is on any tidbit of meaningless dribble you can find...perhaps they would like to interview the pig farmers piggies...if they squeel, I would view that as a vote for Bush.
