States shouldn't matter. That whole idea is out-dated by 100 years. No state is going to war with another these days. But now I know why the GOP talks about states rights. They like this system. It's the only way they can win nationally and still remain so backward in many of their views. So long as they have the more charismatic candidate they know how to beat a liberal in the heartland. But that whole divisive attitude is part of what's wrong with the system. Us against them. What ever happened to the individual? Why do we have to be part of a state or a group or a party? It's all incredibly out-dated and anti-progressive. Unless the GOP changes soon it will doom them. Just watch. Both parties need to agree on these changes or we will see Jesse Ventura as outr next president.
Nothing against Jesse but that's a ridiculous thought isn't it?
