Tennessee has been trending Republican and conservative for a long time. Even Gore Sr. lost three because he was a bit too liberal. Bush's good ole boy personality and big government attacks won them over. Fair enough. But my point is that EC ought to be gotten rid of nomatter what. Then we wouldn't worry about winning this state or that.
right now if you live on one side of the Maryland-Virginia border you vote doesn't matter but your neighbor's does, either way. That is ridiculous.

I understand the GOP is scared of change, but that fear will eventually sink them, or force them to become even more dependent on big industry money and negative personal attacks.
